Common Weed Killer found in Sperm

Guys, if you care about the health of your testicles (which you should), then you’re going to want to listen in.


A recent study looked at infertile men for levels of the common herbicide glyphosate. Not good news, over half had detectable levels and all those who had glyphosate in their sperm had increased levels of oxidative stress and DNA damage.


We’re already surrounded by endocrine disruptors and xenoestrogens that we know affect fertility and testosterone. We should also do our best to avoid herbicides and pesticides. Here are the best strategies:


- Try to stick with organic foods

- Avoid the EWG dirty dozen produce

- Wash all your produce in water and baking soda

- Optimise your detoxification pathways (liver, kidneys, gut)
